A BARANGAY health worker was injured after his neighbor stabbed him in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022.
The case investigator, Staff Sergeant Robert Castro, identified the victim as Elsa Calridad, 51, a resident of Purok Lubi in Barangay Mambaroto.
Castro said Claridad was on her way home from distributing financial aid to victims of Typhoon Odette when suspect Pablito Morales repeatedly blocked and stabbed her.
The victim was immediately taken to the Sipalay City Infirmary, but was later transferred to the Corason Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City.
The investigation showed that Castro was angry when he was not included as a recipient of financial aid. (APN)
