Health Bureau announces service agreements after Typhoon No. 8 signal downgrade


MACAU, July 2 – The Health Bureau announces that all entrances to the Conde de São Januário General Hospital will be reopened to the public after the signal from Typhoon No. 8 deteriorates. The Accident and Emergency Department (including the island emergency station), the hospitalization service and the hemodialysis unit of the Conde de São Januário General Hospital will operate as usual. The outpatient specialist services, the CHCSJ pharmacy and the general services of the radiology department will remain suspended, with emergencies being handled normally.

Health centers are currently closed according to normal operating hours. Coloane Health Station will provide on-call medical services until 10:00 p.m.

Blood donation services at the Blood Transfusion Center remain suspended.

As for COVID-19 vaccination point services, the Macau Forum Large Community Vaccination Post will open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the Nossa Senhora do Carmo – Lago Health Center will open from 8:30 a.m. at 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., to provide immunization services as usual.
