Any news on the support law?
For their Manchester show, Royal Blood will be backed by Berkshire-based The Amazons.
The Amazons are a rock band from Reading and in 2017 they were named a ‘band to listen to’ by NME, The Independent and BBC Radio One.
Who are Royal Blood?
Royal Blood are a British rock duo consisting of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher.
They originally formed 11 years ago in 2011 and are currently signed to the Warner label.
Their rise to selling out shows in London and Manchester presented its problems. When the duo started out, they couldn’t get a gig in Worthing “for months”, and simply resorted to numerous open-mic nights, in a bid to make a name for themselves.
The band developed their music at Bright Electric studios, gaining attention and signed to Warner/Chappell Music, the same management company of the Arctic Monkeys.
In 2015 they performed on the main stage at the 2015 Reading and Leeds Festival and have already won the Brit Awards, NME Awards and been nominated for two MTV European Music Awards.
