It’s been less than a week since SS Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead, hit theaters. Since then, the Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn co-star has collected about $60 million (Rs 456 million) at the worldwide box office in its first weekend.

These numbers are impressive but sadly no one in the Bollywood entertainment space has spoken about them or praised the team for their success – except for filmmaker Karan Johar.

SS Rajamouli’s RRR is one of the greatest Indian films released in recent times. As mentioned above, the star of Ram Charan, Jr NTR has achieved much more than expected at the domestic and international (US market) box office. The Telugu film did well not only in its main language but also reaped the good moolah with its Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam versions.

According to a report from telugu360.com, the film is expected to collect close to Rs 65 million in three days in North India. However, except for filmmaker Karan Johar, no Bollywood celebrity has praised the film. Karan Johar is the filmmaker on his success.

Even Alia Bhatt, who plays an extended cameo and Ajay Devgn, who plays a pivotal role in the script, have yet to tweet, post or talk about the box office dominating SS Rajamouli movie. According to the portal mentioned above, Tollywood film industry players are quite surprised that no big names in Bollywood have responded or promoted RRR.
