RUPTURE (8:23 .am CT): Pair of #tornado warnings issued for #Houston subway station. One comprising western and central Harris County, including downtown Houston. Thunderstorm winds that are destructive and possibly shrouded in rain, embedded #tornadoes are possible. Take shelter now! #txwx

The tornado warning is expected to expire at 9:45 a.m. ET.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the Astros plan to open the roof of Minute Maid Park for Game 2 of the World Series, which begins tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
The strong line of storms crossing the region should disappear on the first step, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. Some storms could be severe. High near 80. Wind southerly 10 to 15 mph becoming westerly in the afternoon. Winds could be blowing up to 25 mph. The probability of precipitation is 100%. Further amounts of precipitation between 1 and 2 inches are possible.
Clear, with a low around 59. West wind around 10 mph.
The Atlanta Braves enter the field tonight with a 1-0 lead in the Best 7 series after beating the Houston Astros in Game 1 Tuesday, 6-2.
